Our remote learning provision enables students who are temporarily or longer-term unable to attend school to remain engaged with their education, maintain positive relationships with staff and continue making progress towards their individual learning outcomes.
Recognising that every learner is unique, our remote education is carefully personalised to reflect each student’s needs, timetable, curriculum pathway and, where appropriate, the outcomes identified within their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
We recognise that access to suitable technology is essential for effective remote learning. Where barriers to participation are identified, we will work with families, local authorities and other partners to explore appropriate solutions, ensuring that all students have equitable access to education wherever possible.
Through our Education Access Community Hub (E.A.C.H.), students can access a flexible programme of learning that combines live online teaching, independent learning, teacher feedback and personalised support.
