Our careers programme is designed to help every student recognise their strengths, raise their aspirations and make informed decisions about their future.
As students progress through Key Stage 4, they have the opportunity to participate in carefully planned work experience placements that provide valuable insight into the world of work. These placements enable students to apply their learning in real-life environments while developing the confidence, independence and practical skills needed for future success.

Each placement is individually matched to a student’s interests, abilities, aspirations and identified outcomes, including those within their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) where appropriate. We carefully assess each placement to ensure it provides a safe, supportive and inclusive environment in which students can thrive.

Our careers provision follows the principles of the Gatsby Benchmarks and supports students to understand the opportunities available to them through further education, apprenticeships, supported internships, training and employment.
